Stone Slipcovered Wingback and Sofa


Here's a sofa and wingback chair that I slipcovered in a heavy weight stone colored canvas. I wish I had a picture of the sofa before I got started on it but I must have forgotten. Oops! As you can see from the picture below, the sofa had a bunch of pillows as back cushions and they were a mixture of upholstery fabrics. That's what the upholstery on the couch looked like, too.

I really like the box pleats going around the corner of the couch. The fabric color was much more like the picture above than below. These pieces left before I could take too many pictures outside...we had a rainy, cool week I worked on these.

And here's the wingback chair. The fabric was quite stiff and thick to go around all those curves but it turned out well! Box pleats are becoming a favorite of mine. They're fun to change up the look of a piece of furniture.
